The Z.O.M.B.I.E. Society

The Zombie Outbreak Monitoring Bureau of Information & Enrichment (Z.O.M.B.I.E.) Society is a privately funded, worldwide organization dedicated to collecting, researching and educating the general public about Zombie outbreaks around the world.
Our projects include:

* Research & Development

At our state of the art research facilities, the Nation's leading geneticists & scientists are working together to develop a viable vaccine to stop the spread of zombie infestation.

Until a vaccine is developed, our scientists and former military weapons experts work to develop safe, humane weapons that will lead to instant eradication.

* Education & Outreach

The Z.O.M.B.I.E. Society's Education & Outreach division seeks to provide citizens from all walks of life with timely, informative news, commentary & education in the prevention, identification and eradication of outbreaks in their communities. To accomplish this goal, we provide a wide variety of information to educational facilities, political entities, civic organizations & individuals. At present, we are in the process of developing pamphlets, guides, and other educational materials to combat the zombies' strongest ally: ignorance. In addition, The Z.O.M.B.I.E. Society hold an annual conference in various locations throughout the world where the world's leading minds can come together in an open environment to stop the spread of zombie infestation once and for all.

* Lobbying

The security of any Nation affected by zombie infestation is important. Therefore, The Z.O.M.B.I.E. Society lobbys governments around the world to adopt specific standards & response guidelines for infestations of any classification. In many cases, federal, state & local governments, whether intentional or not, promote the spread of infestations through coverups and outright denials of zombie outbreaks. We believe the best way to combat this is through official recognition of the potential for infestation, and education of our leaders in Washington DC and around the world. At present, efforts are also underway to develop an emergency response standard in conjunction with the US Department of Homeland Security. We also seek to secure such a standard with the United Nations Security Council.
